While doing the glass block in the shop, I have a window that vents a oil
burning furnace. The 8" stove pipe come out this window. I glass blocked
around it and framed out a "hole" in the glass block with 2X4's. (The
opening is 9" X 21")
I wanted to put 3/4" plywood to cover the space.
My question is, what is the best way to close the space by the stove pipe?
How far away from a stove pipe do I need to keep the wood?
What can I put in-between the wood and stove pipe?
Thanks
