I'm already using the plans offered by TIP using 1/2" galvanized pipe
header( approx 5 feet of rise to attic and header is 25' long) in attic
space with drops coming from a tee pointed up and 90'd back down the wall
to a ball valve, air hose connection ... then another ball valve and drain
on each of 4 drops.
I get very little water from the drains on the individual drops but a good
bit from the compressor tank when drained every week or so. Can I assume
that a dryer would remove even more water from the air ??? I can coil up a
bunch of copper line and maybe even put it in a small refrigerator , but
how is the drain done ??? is it just a low loop with a drain valve soldered
in ???... or am I just getting paranoid about water vapor in my air...
I do mostly air tool work and very little painting... and I use the screw
pipe type dryer in the paint line when I need it ???
