I just bought a box of "fancy" nitrile gloves. Haven't had a chance to use them in anger yet... what I use for nasty jobs is cotton gloves with the rubber dots on them. They're pretty heat resistant, and cheap enough that I don't much care if I destroy them. They'd be fine for stripping a car, where all you really need to do is hang on to the parts that you're pulling off, but probably not nimble enough to start threaded fasteners. |
