I'm an ER doc as well as amateur welder, etc.
I've seen many professional welders in the ER for their 3rd or 4th eye burn
because of inadequate eye protection or other lack of respect for UV light.
some people just can't learn!

Ah, the local Safety Nazi weighs in...
It's probably not a good idea to stick the welding electrodes in your
ears, either. I wonder how long it'll take before they start putting
warnings on the packages?
