Since my Father passed away, this topic has been on my mind. I have told
my wife
in event of my untimely death to give or sell my collections of cars and
parts to the club.
They are the only people who would see the value in original 32 year old
black and yellow
fuel hoses for a TR250. My tools are very dear to me. I have collected my
tools over the
years for Birthdays and Christmas. I can tell you who gave me any of my
tools. Some of those
people have passed on and that makes them even more valuable. I hope she
does have to
pry the wrenches out of my cold-dead hands. If that's the case, I'm not
sure what the demand for
fractional sized wrenches and sockets will be in the year 2080. (Maybe NASA
could still use them!)
If I go early, I have friends that are still using junk tools and would
know the value of a set of Cornwell
combination wrenches or SK sockets.
