Hey, Inch. Had some episodes like this with T-45's, finally resorted to
a simple hand-held impact tool that has an adapter to accept 3/8 drive
sockets. Whacked it a few times with a ballpeen, cracked 'em loose
without stripping or breaking. If you have room to get it onto the
bolt, and room to strike it, it might save your bacon. Things are
cheap, like maybe $15 for the driver and bits, but they do work. You
might have to replace the bolt because the torx head does get stretched
from the impact.
Another trick I've used when you want some heat on a locktited bolt but
can't use a flame - a soldering iron or gun on high setting. Hold it
onto the head of the bolt, a minute or two, and she'll be hot enough to
soften threadlocker.
