Thanks to everyone for their responses about welders. I bought a Lincoln
SP-170T today for $549. It was their last one and I got it under cost. The
counter guy said the ad people had screwed up but he still let me have it
for that price. It was their floor model, and came without a box. Big whoop,
who needs a cardboard box anyway.
