just to keep the flogging up....

a direct quote from the Craftsman Power & Hand Tool Catalog

"FULL UNLIMITED WARRANTY NOTE" If any Craftsman hand tool ever fails to
give complete satisfaction, simply return it to Sears Shop at Home and
Sears will replace it, free of charge. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to
state".

BUT there is also more warranty information buried in the "easy ordering
details' page that says "Some Craftsman hand tools have limited
warranties. See product description for specific warranty information

BUT AGAIN it also states later that "Your satisfaction is always
guaranteed. You MUST (emphasis mine) be satisfied with the performance and
quality of workmanship on any item you purchase from the Craftsman Power
and Hand Tools Catalog. If you are not satisfied FOR WHATEVER REASON
(emphasis mine), return the prduct and we'll refund the full merchandise
price"

My assumption is all 'hand tools' i.e. wrenches, sockets, rachets, pliers,
etc are full unlimited. the power tools, i.e. drills, compressors, saws
are limited warranty...

your mileage may vary
