I have a borrowed 1300 psi washer sitting on my porch
right now. I was going to use it to clean up paint droppings
from the driveway. It's not powerful enough for the latex.
It also isn't powerful enough to remove the floor paint off
the porch. I spent about 5 mins to clean a small area and
gave up.
It does clean dirt from the grey painted porch very well
though, and I'm sure it will clean my car engine good too.
Also this unit is an electric one and I did not feel
comfortable stepping over the electrical cord and also
standing on the damp area.
MHO, get a 2000 psi or higher gasoline powered unit.
Regards
Brian.

Subject: Pressure Washers
I am shopping for a pressure washer, but am not certain where the line
between adequate and inadequate is. I will use it primarily for cleaning
engines, off-road vehicles etc. My only reference is the "quarter car
wash", which is too much for my purposes, but not by much. Does anybody
know what the ".25" units put out in PSI & GPM? Ant recommendations out
there?
Thanks,
Ed
