I second the Optima recommendation.  For cars which don't driven often
(garage queens, etc.) they're great.  I put one of those easy to use cut off
switches at the terminal to prevent small drains and t they'll hold a charge
forever!!!!!  Like I mean all winter.   Plus, for restored cars there's no
battery fumes to screw up your restoration efforts.  I also use them in my
street cars and have had absolutely great luck.
