Hi all,
I have a TR6 engine that I just degreased, and under all that dirt and
grease is a surprising amount of rust (rust on an English block?!! --
I am almost pleased, actually :)
I do have a pressure feed sandblaster that I normally use for rust
removal projects, but am loathe to use a sandblaster on anything even
close to an engine (I just know that the sand will make it into the
intake, oil, etc., let alone blast something that should not be hit with
a sandblast stream).
Anyway, I would appreciate any non-sandblaster suggestions for removing
rust from the engine prior to painting. As always, thanks in advance.
