One other point - try to get as much water out of the pipe as you can. It can be very difficult to get the pipes hot enough to properly wick the solder if there's any water present. Oh, and make sure that the taps are open so that you're not trying to blow air out through the solder joint as the trapped air heats up and expands. John Lye rjl6n@Virginia.edu |
