The product I used that failed was Pratt & Lambert Tech.Gard, a two-part
water based epoxy paint. They said they should have recommended Pratt &
Lambert Pal.Gard, a solvent-based product. Since I do not know anyone
who has used the 'proper product', Palgard, I will not be using it, but
will find something else. To the company's credit, when I fianlly got
hold of the manufacturere's data sheet, which is more comprehensive than
the brochure in the store, sure enough, it says 'not for use on floors'.
Unfortunately the store did not know that.
