I don't have epoxy but I do try to keep weld residue from burning my painted
floor.
I keep a 4 x 4 ft. sheet of tin around to catch most of it.  Buy some short
boots
that your pants legs cover too  .  .  . otherwise, you'll get a hot glob
down your Nike's and discover that you've suddenly become an 'elluva dancer!
