Shop Fans revisited

     had occasion to replace my attic fan this weekend...found a nice 30" 
     whole house fan mounted in a 36" wooden frame with switch (hi/lo/off) 
     and louver all for $ 80.00 at a surplus building material place here 
     in Birmingham, Al  (Mazer's)
     
     Suggest you look for something like that... no shroud on blade side 
     since its made to vent into an attic area,but that could be remedied 
     with some hardware cloth and a little imagination...  this thing will 
     suck the bugs up against the grill and keep the 'm there
