If you're in the US, there is absolutely no point in building your own leak down tester, when you can buy a very nice one for $50 or so from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty, complete with gauge set, regulator and quick connect air whip. Your friends may wonder at the plate warning that the prop can spin when pressure is applied, though. |
