I second Gil's comment about the sand. One great benefit of painting the
concrete floor is that cleanup is much easier. Adding sand makes
cleaning harder and unless one really needs the slip resistance doesn't
add to the finished product. I walked on my epoxied floor with some
pretty wet shoes during the winter rains and did not slip at all.
