I am giving some thought to buying one of those car lifts that
I have seen advertised in Hemmings. I am leaning toward one of
those four post, free standing units where you drive onto a set
of ramps.
I have rejected the idea of a frame lift for two reasons:
1. The frame on my Healey tends to be rather sensitive about where the jack
is placed and how the load is distributed.
2. Most of my work under my cars is performed with weight on the wheels
anyway.
Anyone have experience with these or recommendations for or against
the idea?
Any comments pro or con about the vendors?
