This gear oil recommendation is a red herring, of sorts. When these cars were built, grease was basically something that would turn into wax after a bit of time. These days, any good moly or synthetic grease will provide adequate lubrication for some time. Just pump a few strokes of fresh stuff in every spring. mjb. |
