There is not hp gain with sythentic.  The advantages in sythetic is in
the added protection that you get.  In my case, it felt as if the engine
got a little bit smoother as well.  That last part just may be mental,
but the engine sure seemed to rev alot better, much more than if it was
just a regular oil change.
