Surely there will be mounting instructions with the unit but all I've
seen
have been lag bolted into the floor, instructions will probably specify a
minimum dia. Leveling is usually by steel shims 2-3 inch square between
the leg and the floor.
I think a drop light will be your best bet, I can't imagine anywhere to
mount lamps to give a decent pattern, particularly as when you move around
you'll block the bulk of it with your body. A drop light will also let you
reach up into areas a fixed lamp won't reach.
For other fittings try Harbour Freight or a local second hand machinery
place, perhaps some local workshop has gone to the wall recently.
