I have a friend who has a 6 cylinder air-cooled engine from a Cameron
automobile. He suspects it is dated around 1908 to 1912. All that we
have read indicates that there are only 4 such automobiles still in
existence and therefore there is a strong interest in restoring the engine.
The 6 cylinder model was introduced in 1909 and was produced in the
New London Conn. factory. Any suggestions on where parts or data
can be obtained? Anyone else has such an engine? What problems can
we expect (note the cylinder is scraped where the wrist pin rubbed the
side of the cylinder.)
