You may recall that I ventured forth an idea about using 3/4" copper
pipe and a bunch of T's to create a "radiator" for my air compressor
feed line from the pump before it enters the tank.
You may remember my very poor ascii rendition of it.

Anyway, I built it, it draws the heat out like a champ (I can touch the
line just before it enters the tank), but the sweated joint at the top
of the radiator will melt and blow off under constant running (as I
said, it draws off the heat very well).
So I guess if one is going to do something like this, you need to run
all compression fittings, or, as I probably will do, use the "radiator"
on the tank outlet and just let the tank absorb the heat. I liked the
idea of dissipating the heat before entering the tank so the water would
condense there, but this experiment failed so far.
