There is an abrasive cable saw that's used for cutting PVC and ABS plastic pipe in constrained areas like inside walls, under foundations, and for pruning trees etc. It's basically a steel cable with a loop on each end. You loop it around the pipe, limb (woody), or limb (humanoid), and saw away. You could attach a lanyard to each end to provide extra reach. ABS (plastic pipe, not abdominal muscles) is pretty tough stuff, so I imagine bone wouldn't be a problem. Dave Simpson davids@cybergate.com |
