Matt, I wouldn't even consider it. Any tank for pressurized fluids/gases needs inspections and a hydro test. I don't think anyone would certify the tank. Finally, most high pressure tanks are seamless, not welded. And, how much faith do you have in your welding. I have a fair amount of experience with oxy-acet, MIG and TIG, and for a critical structural piece on my race car, I take it to a friend who is a much more experienced welder. Take care, Ed |
