You can use RMS values for AC-this is what are usually used for home
wiring/appliances. (120V AC RMS= 170V peak, or 340peak to peak), and current
does something similar. (Not in phase with voltage exc for resistive
loads-lamps or heating devices.)  The EIRP circle holds if voltage and
current are in phase, and doesn't hold if they are not. (Can use
voltage*current=power for lamps or heaters, not for motors, or other
inductive/capacitive loads.  (can't think of examples right now))

Not that anybody really needs to know any of this...
