I painted my garage floor when it was new, and mixed in a "non-slip"
additive to avoid the slippery floor problem. It's pretty much just sand,
but it's sold at the paint store for this specific purpose, and it's cheap.
You can add it to get the level of "friction" that you want.
I wrote a newsletter article about garage floor painting a couple of years
ago. I'll post it here next.
