I have a Lincoln SP-100 mig welder, which I like very well. It does not
do particularly well when the thickness of the steel is 0.100 in or more,
but it is fine on sheet metal.
I suspect, however, that you meant the cheaper flux core wire feed
welders. I have no experience with them, but I have been told they are
not as clean or easy to use as mig.
