-> than the kerosine versions. The problem is the moisture. For every -> pound of propane you burned you get 2 lbs of water. The water rusts I have a propane heater going in my study right now. The hygrometer on the wall runs 50-55% humidity with just the usual natural gas furnace in the living room. Fire up the Mr. Heater, and humidity drops to a little over 40%. If we run the heater all weekend the humidity will drop to 35%. |
