Hallo George,

Ever since this happened, if the adjuster is tight, I remove the drum and
dismantle the adjuster before getting too zealous. Always turn the
4-star-shaped adjusters by hand only (did you use a crescent wrench ????? Very
naughty). When re-assembling, use Locktite Antisieze (just as you probably do
on the exhaust manifolds - headers !!) on the adjuster threads, as they are
prone to jamming up (water ingress+sudden heat - a crystalline scale appears on
the steel surface). It's really annoying when a 3-monthly-quick fine-tune
before the opera turns into a dirty finger session... Thze same applies on the
quad heads of the adjusters on the front - use care and Locktite Antisieze.

RT.
