I realize this is far from being a Rolls or Bentley, but I thought maybe
someone on this list might be able to assist me.
The leather seats on my '59 Riley 1.5 have deteriorated and I have been
trying to find a source for sections of the leather on them. They are
bright red and light grey.
I've been able to find a source for the red leather in a nearby city, but
they can't match the grey. I've corresponed with several leather suppliers
and the greys they have are poor matches for mine. If I have a hide custom
coloured, it will cost me a great deal (out of proportion to the value of
the car).
There is a leather seat specialist in New Zealand that restores existing
seats, but the shipping cost would be prohibitive. Is there anything like
this in the U.S. that you know of?
