Hi Barry,

Thanks for your response. You may be right. I'll fill you in on why I'm
asking. The other day I received an e-mail from a woman who had an interest
in William Orville Bentley (read her e-mail below). I told her that I would
do what I could to help her out. I thought the Rolls-Bentley list would be
the best place to start. She either has the name wrong, or there is a
William Orville. Maybe from reading her e-mail to me you'll be able to
determine whether it could in fact be Walter Owen Bentley that she needs to
know about.

Her message:

<<<<<<This is sort of an off the wall kinda question. I'm trying to find more
information on William Orville Bentley. A friend is in possession of
one of his crafted copper bowls which was given to her dad (he worked
for Mr. Bentley as his test mechanic in the early days)

Can't seem to find his biography and after 35 min. on the web :-(
just thought as a British car enthusiast, you may know how I could
research him. Believe it or not - a biography search comes up with
nothing.

Please, if it is inconvenient, I will understand....only if you are so
inclined or know something about the person.<<<<<<<<<<<

Please let me know what you think.

Best regards,

Scott Helms
