Take-over and Failure to procede

Last Sunday there was a programme on the German TV (Focus-TV) about the
possible take-over of RR by BMW. During this programme they brought an
interview with a chap who owned three RR's and eventually switched to a
German manufacturer because his Rolls's had a tendency to "fail to
procede". Especially one which would seize once the engine was hot. So
each time this happened he had to let it cool down to continue his 1500
mile journey.
B.t.w. I would like to see the Volkswagen 12 cylinder block in future
RRs.
