Mark: Bet you could tell me.
Have Chev 55-1st PU that has 53 Chev front sheet metal and grill - also have
54 GMC front inner & outer fenders - have bolted left outer 54 GMC fender to
existing installed 53 inner fender with only discrepancy being bolt holes
where inner & outer fenders meet at the max. grill width opening - easy weld
adjustment if that is all that would be required.
Will above 54 GMC fender pieces be completely compatible with 54 Chev
grill - would grill to radiator support upper & lower 53 panels be
comparable with 54 Chev grill - understand hoods are the same other than
hood ornament mounting holes.
Any information would be appreciated in that new 54 grills are now
available - would be nice to have the truck period correct.
Thanks in advance,
Jim
