can someone provide the dimension from the top of their 54 bed to the bottom
line/crack of the body molding (below the window)on the pickup cab?
measure in the center and at the bedrail. just to the top.
doing a non-stock conversion and interested in that dimension.
thanks

Subject: [oletrucks] Flare on Vacuum Advance Line
Since I have some extra line, I am going to attempt to bend my own vacuum
adance line. My question is-----What type of flare should be used where the
vacuum advance line connects to the vacuum advance mechanism at the dizzy??
Thought I would give it a shot. I can always order a pre-bent line if it
doesn't work out.
Thanks in advance for the help. This is a great group.

1947 and 1948 Advanced Design trucks
had the gas tank under the bed. Could
my '53 be converted, to make more room
for a tall driver? Truck Shop in Orange,
CA has '49 and later tanks but not the
early version, do any vendors have them?
Thanks,
Dennis
