I have a 1955 2nd Series TF and need to know where all the VIN numbers
may be hiding out.
I know there is one on the frame near the steering column. Is that on
the frame rails or the cross member? My front end has been replaced with
an IFS, but I still have the cross member with the spindles, but not the
frame rails.
I found the plate on the A pillar but it doesn't match the title VIN. I
read in the archives that it was also on the frame near the cab mount.
However I couldn't find any other details about its exact location. If I
have these numbers it may help me when I go to the DMV to get it all
straightened out.
