Ken,
I have chevy 49 and 52 doors and they are the same, except for the
striker plate on the cab. The striker plate can be easily changed. And the 49
doors dont have wind wings as you already know. BUT, the 49 doors have turn
down handles and there is no easy way to put a key lock on the drivers side. I
will probably use the 52 doors so I can put a key lock in the push button.
I
am assuming the GMC and Chevy doors are the same other wise.

Can anyone tell me if a 49' GMC door will fit on a
53'. Kinda want to get rid
of the wing windows and know where I can get the
doors for little or nothing.
The glass is pretty much shot but the doors are
in good shape. I guess I'm
looking the easiest (lazy) way to do this. Any
opinions would be appreciated
