[oletrucks] Mustang rack

I have a 48 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up with a RBs bolt in Mustang cross
member.  
Can someone tell me the best way to set up the manual steering
(Mustang/Pinto)   rack & tie rods and adjust the upper A arm to have some
kind of wheel aliment?

Each time I bring the rack to the center of its travel with the wheels
also centered I run out of threads on the tie rods (short tie rods) so I
can not attach them to both spindles. without having one wheel pointing
to the outside.
