Pee-Wee here, I put together a webpage on the GMC tailgates.
http://members.tripod.com/p-wees/id94.htm just remember that all 1955 to
1959 GMC stepsides had the fancy type GMC script w/ the "feet" under the
G and the M, if any 55-59 GMC stepside has the 60's box style font it's
not correct! The only box style font in the TF GMC is the 58 and 59
Fleetside tailgate. Here's the link to the pictures of the GMC
