I have both sets of wheels and I just went out to look at them and
measure them. The shape of both the inner hubs and the outer ring look
the same. The inner hub on the AD 16" wheel is 13" and the TF wheel
center hub is 12". The TF center is welded to the outer ring and the AD
center hub is riveted. The back spacing is the same on both. There is
nothing that I can se that would cause any problems using the AD wheel
on a TF truck. The clip placement looks the same and either the AD or TF
cap should fit either wheel.

Sales brochure attached (you'll be the only one getting it Bob) shows
'56 GMC 1/2 tons with optional 16" wheels with 5K rim and 7/16" offset
using 6.50x16 tires. Master Parts Book shows the same for '56 and
either 6.00x16 or 6.50x16 tires for '57/'58. Part number for the 16"
wheels is 2324150. If anyone has an AD parts book maybe they could look
up the part number for the 16" AD wheel and see if it is the same.
