Do you guys ever bet bummed about your old truck just sitting there in pieces?
I have a place in the garage for it and just rolled it out so I would have
more garage space. I just never seem to have extra money or get motivated to
do anything to it. I've had it since 1976. I feel like I'm turning into the
guy that won't sell it because I'm going to restore it someday etc. I actually
planned on getting it going before I retire but it just looks like nothing is
going to happen to it until I do retire.(under 10 years to go) Anyway before
anybody asks how much I want for it(I really can't sell it anyway because it's
part of the family now) if I never get to it I'll just give it to my son
someday. It's just such a waste to see it just sitting instead of out being
used. It is a 53 3100 with a little rust in one front cowl. It is in great
shape but I pulled the front end off and engine and trans out about 6 or 7
years ago and got sidetracked by life in general. I have a rebuilt 59 235 just
sitting on an engine stand. I have all these plans for IFS etc someday!!!!!
Sorry for the rambling. I'll probably push it back in the garage one more time
and read some magazines and dream about my plans again! Thanks for listening!
