A Saginaw 4 spd from a late model Nova, Camaro, Firebird, Chevy II will bolt right up without modification (except I used a Hurst shifter/linkage) and works well...I put one in my '51 Chevy PU...used Patrick's 3.55 rear and was able to keep the original closed driveshaft.
