[oletrucks] NOS = New Old Stock??

To the ever wise and all knowing list,

Doesn't NOS mean 'New Old Stock'???  Shouldn't NOS not have wear marks and  
old grease on it?

Just wonderin' cuz I bought something advertised NOS and it has wear marks 
etc.
