In the process of having 10 year old aluminum engine parts - intake, front engine brackets & such glass bead blasted. Operator commented that mostly what he sees is years of aluminum surfaces oxidation. Knowing parts are subjected to some engine heat is there any coating that will slow down the oxidation?
