I have a 55 2nd series and I'm taking the cab off the frame. The last thing to be disconnected is the gearbox steering shaft. I can't figure out how the shaft disconnects from the gearbox. Looks like there is a outer tub that needs to come out that doesn't want to budge. What is the best way to remove this? Jim oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
