hi
lookin for a system that youre going to retrofit yourself or for a system
you wan the parts form and going to use southern or vintage air?
best guess would be to use system off a 74-87 chevy truck-it would be
matched to the motor youhave, it would be matched to teh size cab you have,
and its still almost the same shape engine compartment-firewall.
good luck.
the hardest part is going to be the condensor but you may be able to use a
conedsor off a S-10 blazer to provide the same cooling.
if youre gonna mix/match parts-i would get parts from a systems that all
have the same amount of charge or "freon" in them-within 1-2 ounces. that
way the compressor and indoor coil will be matched and be able to provide
the most effiecient cooling without iceing up and bursting.
good luck
