Well thanks for the help on this. I paid much greater attention to making
sure the seals were square in the axle before tapping them home. I can't
believe how much easier they went in. I barely had to hit the bearing/seal
driver with the hammer. I literally tapped them in. I used a bigger driver
that fit entirely over the seal, so I was driving the outside edge.
All that and the pesky springs never moved.
A nice $35.00 lesson in doing the job right. :)
I should have the frame back up on all four tires by the end of the weekend.
