I just got back from Macungie ATCA Truck Show...it was GREAT! Don't know if
someone answered this for you or not so here goes.
Chevrolet used these nick names loosely...in 1955 the "Loadmaster" name was
used on a 235 and in 1956 it was the 322 Buick V8. Here are some of the names
I have found in printed material from Chevrolet from 1955, 56 and 57.

235 Thriftmaster (3000 & 4000 series)
235 Loadmaster (6000 series) HD engine features exhaust valve rotators, XCR
steel exhaust valves and chrome-plated top piston rings. Also used in series
3442, 3542 & 3742 (Forward Control Chassis).
261 Jobmaster (optional on 6000 series).
265 V8 Taskmaster (5000 series).
1956.........

I don't think the 265 was used as much as the literature would have us believe.
I think the 283 took over in a BIG way through the entire line.
