[oletrucks] Steering box bushings

I'm about to tear down my steering box on my 53 3100 to replace the 
sector bushings.
Does anyone have a suggestion for removing the  bushing in the cover?
I note that the shop manual says "it is impractical to replace this 
bushing in the service department".
