Thanks to all who replied, I finally got the locking pin out. (the king pins
are another story altogether)
Anyway, and I'm not sure if I can give a good description or not, but I also
came up with another possible problem. When taking apart the right side
(which came out fairly easily) I noticed what looks almost like a sort of
bracket, but seems to only serve as a washer. Not sure if this is a good
description, but it slides on the end of the locking pin, and is held on the
locking pin nut. This piece looks like it servers as nothing more that an
oversize washer for the locking pin, but I'm not quite sure.
Are any of these floating around in anyone's garage, not being used, or do
you think I could safely dispence with this?

Subject: King Pin Locking Pin
I'm finally getting around to replacing my king pins, and have run into a
little delemna. Not sure if someone had tried before, but on the drivers
side, the locking pin is sheared off, leaving me nothing to strike and drive
it out.
I'm guessing that nothing shot of a brass drift, lots of heat ad a good deal
of patience will do anything, unless any of you have other suggestions?
